Speed tailoring

by Sophea

To begin the term we had an external tutor come in to teach us speed tailor skills, which is a style of tailoring done using various various fusible in place of canvas etc. It was a really nice process and although it is a quick process it can stand the test of time and wear pretty well. It took around two and a half days to make but the fabric was pre cut. The reason the jacket is two tone is because the black half belongs to Hollie Kostis and the grey to me.

Above is a quick jet pocket with a flap that I made. I didn’t like the flap pattern that was recommened to us by our tutor but I do feel like the jets themselves have got much better.
