70’s jumpsuit

by Sophea

Since the cycling costume is off of the cards, I had to decide on a new make for the term. As I mentioned previously, I was really keen to make trousers and I really enjoy women’s tailoring. I looked thoroughly through books to come up with something. I considered making beach pyjamas but they aren’t really a complex enough make and could probably be made in next to no time. I continued my research and inside of my Fashion: the ultimate book of costume and style, I found this 70’s jumpsuit, which has been inspired by the 1940’s tailoring cut. It is an interesting shape and allows me to look at broad ranges of research. It is very exciting! I think this is going to be a really fun and interesting make. I am very keen to get started.
