Incorrect skirt length

by Sophea

When I cut the skirt I didn’t match the edges of the patterns and I didn’t make sure that the length was okay, so when I went into the fitting, the back didn’t even touch the floor by the time she was put in her heeled shoes for the show. It has been an extremely stressful and hard learning curve but it then meant I needed to add panels into the top of the skirt. Normally I couldn’t do this as it wouldn’t look how the designer has requested, so I would have to recut all of it. It could have been an expensive make as the fabric was £15 a meter and I had already consumed atheist 8 meters. As The character at no point removes the jacket, I could get away with adding panels at the top as the audience would never see them
